Design Features:
- There’s a long matte black track that stretches across the white ceiling. The dark line really stands out against the white. It makes the hall look modern and gives the ceiling its own personality.
- We built a shallow groove into the gypsum and the track fits right inside it. Nothing dangles from the ceiling. It looks like it was always part of the room.
- The spotlights and light bars just clip onto the track. Want to move one? Slide it along. Want it to point somewhere else? Tilt it. You can throw light on the sofa or the dining table or that painting you love. No new wiring needed.
- Spotlights and linear bars clip onto the track and can be moved or angled as needed. Fix them on a good frame and they won’t crack. They also hold paint well.
- The track can run straight or turn into an L shape. That way it carries on from the living area right into the dining space. Both areas feel connected. It’s a great fit for open plan flats in big Indian cities.
It’s a false ceiling with a channel built into it for a track light system. You clip the light heads onto the track. Then you can move them around however your room is set up.
Black on a white ceiling just looks sharp. It has that designer feel people love. If you already have black metal frames or furniture at home they’ll tie in perfectly. That’s a big reason they’re everywhere in contemporary home interior styling right now.
Yes and it’s a really good false ceiling design for living hall spaces. You can turn the lights towards the sofa or the TV wall. Bright for daily use and softer for when you have people over. You get to choose.
Absolutely. The channel for the track is made while the ceiling is being built. So, the track ends up flush with the surface. A gypsum board ceiling design like this hides all the wires and keeps things neat.
Most of them run on low voltage so they’re safe to use at home. Just don’t do the wiring yourself. Get a trained electrician to fit the driver and connections.
All you need is dry microfiber cloth. Run it along the track and the light heads every now and then. Skip the wet cloth and strong cleaners. They can spoil the matte black coating.
Not every single one. It looks best in modern rooms with a clean layout. Is your living room interior design full of carved wood or heavy traditional pieces, then a soft cove ceiling might sit better with the rest of the room.
