• Warm LED cove lighting runs the full inner perimeter of the arch, tracing the curve from base to crown on both sides. Positioned at a 45-degree angle into the wall cavity, the strips throw light onto the plaster surface rather than outward into the room - the glow is directional and contained, which is what gives the arch its three-dimensional quality after dark.
• Four walnut floating shelves at deliberately varied heights flank the arch on both sides - not symmetrically spaced but offset, which breaks the rigid grid that makes most TV unit shelving look like product display rather than a lived-in wall.
