Beige Tiled Modern Bathroom Design with Quartz Countertop and Floating Wooden Vanity
Design Specifications:
Style: Modern
Tile Colour: Warm Beige Large-Format Ceramic
Vanity Storage: Floating wooden vanity with 2 drawers and 1 under-sink cabinet
Shutter Finish:
- Drawer: Wood Veneer with Teak Laminate in Matte Finish
- Countertop: White Engineered Quartz
Mirror: Rectangular frameless or gold-frame mirror (36x24 inches)
Room Dimension: 7x5ft
Design Features:
- Warm beige tiles and a teak or walnut floating vanity sitting in the same earthy tone family. Nothing clashing, nothing competing - the two materials just settle into each other and the bathroom ends up feeling like somewhere a good hotel charged serious money for.
- White quartz countertop on warm wood. The contrast is the point - the white makes the grain look richer, the grain makes the white look sharper. Neither material would read as well next to itself.
- Look under the vanity and there's nothing there except the beige floor since the whole unit is screwed to the wall. That gap between the wood and the tiles is what I notice most. It makes the bathroom look like it was designed as one whole thing.
- Brushed gold faucet and mirror frame picking up the warmth already in the wood and tile. The metal doesn't introduce a new direction - it continues the one already established across the bathroom surfaces.
- Moisture-resistant MDF core with teak or walnut laminate. Built specifically for what Indian bathrooms actually put furniture through - humidity, steam, daily use. Looks like solid wood, performs better in these conditions.

It will if the cabinet is moisture-resistant MDF and the laminate or veneer on top is properly sealed. I'd also keep the exhaust fan running after showers and wipe the sides whenever they get splashed. Honestly in bathroom design the fan does more to save the wood than whatever finish you choose.
Sandy beige is a safe bet and wheat-toned tiles work nicely too. Both have the same warm base as teak so they sit well together. Some beige tiles have a slight pink or greyish cast to them and next to teak they just look off.
For most Indian bathrooms yes. Engineered quartz doesn't soak anything up so you never have to seal it. Soap and water and all your skincare bottles sit on that counter every day and it just wipes clean. Natural stone needs a lot more looking after.
A vanity 42-48 inches (3.5-4ft) wide is ideal for a 7ft bathroom wall. It leaves adequate counter space on both sides and room for movement in front.
Match the mirror to the vanity width or go up to 10% narrower. For a 42 to 48 inch vanity a mirror of about 38 to 46 inches looks right. In modern home interior design this is the basic rule for bathroom mirrors.
